Setting a Greeting:
Step 1:
Turn on the Device.
(press and hold the power btn on the underside of the phone until you hear the “POWER ON” message)
Step 2:
Ensure that the phone is placed on the hook. (do not pick up the phone when setting a greeting)
Step 3:
Press and hold the center button on the rotary dial for 4 seconds, and you’ll hear a CHIME.
REMAIN HOLDING DOWN THE BUTTON, say your greeting. And then, let go of the button to save it.
(You can re-do this as many times as you like)
Step 4:
Test Run!
Pick the phone up to your ear, and listen to your new greeting.
After your greeting is a beep, and that’s when your guests will leave their message.
Step 5:
turn off the device until it’s time for your event.
Make sure to power it back on before your event starts.
Example Usage:
Your Guest picks the phone up to their ear, and hears your amazing greeting follwed by a “beeeep”.
The guest then leaves a message for you, and places the phone back on the hook when finished.
Your message is now saved, and ready for the next guest!
